Responsibilities
Support manufacturing plants in all aspects of Operational Technology – most importantly in MES, batch, SCADA, and control systems
Lead and coordinate OT activities during projects, upgrades, maintenance and other initiatives
Maintain Operational Technology systems in validated states throughout their respective lifecycles
Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies
Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems. Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects
Designs and drafts blueprints with designer, visits systems in the field and manages projects
Must be SME in field at higher levels of job
Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
06-08 years related experience required
Regular and predictable attendance
Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed
Extensive experience in PLC and distributed systems control – specifically Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Studio and PlantPAX and Siemens S7 and PCS 7 platforms
Extensive experience in multiple Manufacturing Execution Systems – specifically Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk PharmaSuite and Körber PAS-X
Extensive experience in batch control software – specifically Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Batch and Siemens SIMATIC Batch
Extensive experience in HMI and SCADA software such as WinCC, Wonderware and Ignition
Experience leading Operational Technology projects in regulated environments from requirements gathering through implementation, validation, and transfer to operations
Experience in Operational Technology networking architecture and principles, communication protocols, and integration with other systems
