Mechanic - Component Electrical Shop

Aviation Technical Services is a company with over 50 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul. They are seeking an Electric Shop Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing commercial aircraft electrical components using various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Utilize various equipment and precision tooling related to electrical actuation (e.g., Multimeters, oscilloscopes, dynamometers, load cells)
Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics
Solder various electronic devices
Troubleshoot, repair, and build wire bundles, including fiber optics, electrical connectors, and removal/installation of connector pins
Repair and troubleshoot linear, rotary, and pneumatic electro-mechanical actuation systems
Install seals, O-rings, backup rings, bearings, and bushings
Inspect and verify conformance of finished work pieces to OEM specifications before release
Perform any additional duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience
Ability to utilize various equipment and precision tooling related to electrical actuation (e.g., Multimeters, oscilloscopes, dynamometers, load cells)
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics
Ability to solder various electronic devices
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and build wire bundles, including fiber optics, electrical connectors, and removal/installation of connector pins
Ability to repair and troubleshoot linear, rotary, and pneumatic electro-mechanical actuation systems
Ability to install seals, O-rings, backup rings, bearings, and bushings
Ability to inspect and verify conformance of finished work pieces to OEM specifications before release
Ability to perform any additional duties as assigned
