Responsibilities
Collaborate cross‐functionally to execute product and business strategy
Develop novel products and features for the payments platform
Own the end‐to‐end development cycle: design, implementation, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
Review code and design documents, and provide feedback on product specs and mocks
Improve developer workflows and recommend best practices
Continuously learn and elevate both technical and non‐technical capabilities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in one or more general‐purpose languages: Java, Python, or Go; plus familiarity with GraphQL, REST, HTTP fundamentals, and designing maintainable APIs
Strong organizational skills with a track record of prioritizing effectively and delivering on schedule
Entrepreneurial mindset: self‐directed, innovative, and effective in fast‐paced environments
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with experience collaborating across remote teams and explaining complex technical topics to diverse audiences
Demonstrated technical leadership
At least 5 year with Python with expertise in Microservices
Build, review, and contribute to code from scratch, not just maintenance
Handle small, critical components (even 100-line code modules) that impact the whole system
Need to be a code master
Preferred
Microservices frameworks (Thrift, gRPC – nice to have) got to consider someone who has architecture understanding
