New Grad, Entry LevelBIS is seeking a Software Developer responsible for the development and support of their software products. The role involves developing new systems and tools for big data analysis, managing data extraction, and designing solutions to operational problems.

Responsibilities
Work with team members to extend the feature set and functionality of existing proprietary, patented software GROOPER, a BIS trademarked software product
Understand client requirements and how they translate to new application features
Collaborate with development team and IT staff to set specifications for new applications
Write high-quality source code to program complete applications on schedule
Correct malfunctions in BIS software products discovered by the Quality Assurance team, Solution Technicians, Help Desk staff, etc

Design creative prototypes according to specifications
Perform unit and integration testing before launch
Conduct functional and non-functional testing
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
Develop technical documents and handbooks accurately representing application design and code
Demonstrate punctuality, maintain attendance reliability and dependability
Responsible for promoting, maintaining, and enforcing information security
Other relative duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or electronics and communications engineering required
Experience with Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio required
Experience with database maintenance and design using MS SQL Server required
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science engineering or management information systems preferred
Working knowledge of Grooper software preferred
Experience and familiarity with the following are a plus: object-oriented programming, inheritance and object serialization, Experience with computer vision, parallel processing, digital image processing, AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing
