Responsibilities

Lead the Thread Lead Staff Support team within the Milestone Event & Thread Lead (METL) department
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
Build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching
Spend ~20% of time on functional/organizational support and ~80% on technical program work
Manage a Systems Engineering group of up to 12 engineers, maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work
Support one or more teams within METL and/or AVSI or outside the directorate

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years related experience or Masters Degree in STEM and 6 years of related experience
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

Preferred

Managing people preferred
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 6 years of experience, or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree
3+ years of leadership experience in a multi-disciplined environment
Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering and Integration and Test processes on the Sentinel Program
7+ years of leadership experience in a multi-disciplined environment
2+ years experience leading teams in a functional, programmatic or technical capacity
Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
