Responsibilities
Coordinate with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program
Work within a team environment consisting of program management, technical, production, financial and other supporting staff
Perform Schedule risk analyses and work with the program manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues, and network logic conflicts
Perform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance
Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Participating in month-end Earned Value reporting close activities
Qualification
Required
Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
Requires a bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience; 1 years with a master's degree; or 6 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree (Principal level requires 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including VBA and/or Macros)
Requires experience with MS Project, P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment Tools
Requires experience in an Aerospace/Defense environment
Requires experience working in a Microsoft Project Server Environment
Preferred
Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
Strong analytical ability
1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Experience in Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools
Ability to effectively manage completing priorities and deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
