Senior Analyst Force Development

GC Associates USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the headquarters department of the Army, G-8, and the Force Development Directorate. The role involves providing research, analytic, programmatic, and liaison services to ensure successful execution of the G8-FD mission, alongside assessing data collection phases and maintaining transparency document systems.

Responsibilities

Provide research, analytic, programmatic, communications, financial, and liaison services to ensure successful execution of the G8-FD mission
Assess the data collection files through the course of each data collection phase. This assessment will be done in coordination with ASA (FMC), ASA (ALT) and the Army G8 AOs. The assessment will include a quality control (QC) report. The QC report will show the status of each program and identification of each deficiency by organization, type (funding or quantity), and location of error by row, column(s) or type of error if wide-spread. The QC report will be updated per the approved quarterly schedule or upon notification but not more than 20 times in one quarter with eight business hours to complete
Attend and participate in each Transparency IPT meeting, the quarterly Transparency General Officer Steering Committee (GOSC) and other coordination meetings unless deemed unnecessary by the Transparency IPT Lead
Maintain an accessible electronic file folder system for transparency documents and other relevant government provided documents. The file folders will be organized by appropriations, program and/or subject. The electronic folders will be updated continuously and reviewed with the Transparency IPT Lead annually for acceptability
Conduct cross-functional assessments; recommend business rules, processes, and procedures for collecting financial data and equipment procurement quantity data; develop and conduct integrated training; and draft results and recommended solutions through the Army G-8 approval process

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Math, Science, Engineering, History or English
A Master's degree in one of these areas will be accepted if Bachelor's degree does not meet the criteria
Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
Experience may be obtained at varying levels of Army organizations but candidates must have experience at most senior levels of the Army such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands
