Responsibilities
Fulfill project management responsibilities across the full project delivery lifecycle
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies
Lead and coordinate phase gate reviews ensuring all deliverables and cross-functional inputs are prepared and approved
Provide oversight and coordination of project activities across internal teams, vendors, and delivery partners
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
Organize and facilitate business and technical workshops to align diverse stakeholder groups
Provide direction or redirection to improve schedules, productivity, budgets, quality, and outcomes
Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Manage all aspects of project communication with consistent and timely stakeholder updates
Communicate regularly with project sponsors, senior leadership, and vendors across global locations and time zones
Lead governance activities including steering committees, status reviews, and stand-ups
Independently develop and maintain project documentation aligned with Client standards
Collaborate with Corporate Finance to ensure IT compliance with PM community deadlines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager delivering complex, cross-functional programs
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience OR Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience
Experience leading global, distributed teams across multiple vendors and locations
Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies including waterfall, agile, and iterative delivery
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels
Strong ownership mindset with focus on high performance and delivery excellence
Preferred
Familiarity with Unified Namespace (UNS) concepts and data taxonomy/naming standards
Experience delivering GxP-regulated projects and system integrations
Understanding of Medical Affairs business functions
Prior experience in the life sciences industry
PMP certification preferred
