Senior RF Electrical Engineer

They are seeking a Senior RF Electrical Engineer to design and develop RF circuits and provide technical support during production transitions, all while working in a hybrid environment in Aguadilla, PR.

Responsibilities

Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters
Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.)
Schematic capture and RF routing
Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of prior work experience
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (RF/Electronic Design Focus)
Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, CST, and/or Mentor Graphics' Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB)
Experience working in design, from concept through production
Experience translating system performance and operation specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications
Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, which includes yield and margin analysis
