Responsibilities
Leading the development, documentation, and maintenance of efficient and innovative processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline the software lifecycle
Providing technical oversight across multiple systems, guiding teams in designing and operating production-ready solutions
Evaluating emerging technologies and seeking innovative solutions to address current and future challenges
Mentoring and developing engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Managing projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape application architecture and build scalable infrastructure for multi-application communication
Creating and maintaining test suites to verify system reliability, performance, and behavior under various conditions
Engaging with users and developers to define requirements and implement effective solutions
Participating in architectural discussions, influencing the technology roadmap, and taking ownership of key initiatives
Resolving complex technical issues and driving innovations that enhance system availability, resilience, and performance
Researching and overseeing the implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes
Overseeing large-scale software architecture, design, development, analysis, and maintenance of distributed systems
Translating system-level requirements into detailed software specifications aligned with customer and operational needs
Ensuring code quality through reviews and adherence to standards, maintaining traceability from requirements to implementation
Qualification
Required
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in backend software development
Proficiency with server-side programming languages such as Go, Java, or equivalent
At least 5+ years of experience interfacing with databases using SQL or PL/SQL
Extensive experience in infrastructure development and deployment
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or related fields
Experience with concurrency programming, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like NodeJS and ReactJS is advantageous
Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and modern design principles
