Responsibilities

Supporting the performance, verification, and sustainment of tactical communication systems and components
Conducting formal engineering analyses and performance reviews at both system and component levels
Designing, developing, and releasing data management, processing, and reporting software tools to enhance system capabilities
Investigating and troubleshooting system performance issues, analyzing operational environment impacts, and developing technical solutions
Preparing and presenting technical briefs to internal management and external stakeholders
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports, using tools such as DOORS or JIRA
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to system improvements, and ensuring compliance with standards such as MIL-STD-1553B and other military specifications
Performing physical tasks that may include lifting in a Systems Integration Lab environment, and handling classified materials

Required

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of six (6) years of applicable experience
Graduate degree with at least four (4) years of relevant experience, or ten (10) years of experience without a degree
Current DOD Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance

Preferred

Experience with data link systems such as Link16, CMF, or similar
Familiarity with MIL-STD standards and networking technologies
Experience in troubleshooting communication systems
Software coding and development experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
Building test cases experience
Experience with military communication systems like RC135 and JTRS radios
Security+ certification
Ability to obtain a Class III flight certification
Military or DOD experience
