Responsibilities
Performing logical data sanitization on hard drives and solid state drives
Performing logical data sanitization on onboard devices such as Macbooks and other similar devices
Performing physical data sanitization on all drive types via shredder
Removing and scanning data devices from desktops, laptops and other types of devices
Sorting and organizing drives/devices
Creating Excel accountings and scanning of serial numbers
Other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
At least some experience with data security best practices or a strong understanding of IT equipment and components
Very strong familiarity and skill with Microsoft Excel
Ability to perform logical data sanitization on hard drives and solid state drives
Ability to perform logical data sanitization on onboard devices such as Macbooks and other similar devices
Ability to perform physical data sanitization on all drive types via shredder
Ability to remove and scan data devices from desktops, laptops and other types of devices
Ability to sort and organize drives/devices
Ability to create Excel accountings and scanning of serial numbers
Great deal of precision, concentration and attention to detail
Highly organized, determined and focused
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little to no downtime
Ability to handle sensitive data with care
Comprehensive NDA required as part of the onboarding process
Preferred
Strong IT experience
Data and Security related Certifications
Previous hands-on experience with Data Security operations
