Responsibilities
Keep the REVERSE mortgage pipeline running smoothly, on time, and compliant—no surprises allowed
Lead, coach, and support a team of Reverse Mortgage Processors (you’ve done this before)
Review files with a sharp eye to ensure they meet FHA/HUD, investor, RESPA, and state guidelines
Be the go-to expert when questions pop up about reverse mortgage rules, documentation, or tricky scenarios
Use the LOS system and other systems to make workflows faster, smarter, and more efficient
Jump in with borrowers when needed to provide updates or calm concerns
Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and leadership to keep everyone aligned
Spot process gaps, suggest improvements, and help implement smarter ways of working
Deliver a borrower experience that’s professional, compliant, and genuinely positive
Qualification
Required
8+ years of recent, hands-on reverse mortgage processing experience — this is a must
5+ years of experience leading or supervising a mortgage operations team
In-depth, practical knowledge of FHA/HUD reverse mortgage guidelines
A leadership approach that's organized, supportive, and steady
A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities at once
The ability to stay composed, focused, and effective in a fast-moving environment
