Responsibilities
Plan, direct and coordinate activities surrounding major department or organizational project(s) and initiative(s) to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
Operations analysis
Feasibility studies
Cost-benefit analysis
Development of project work or implementation plans
Formation of work groups
Management of work group processes aligned with a standard project lifecycle
Facilitate information flow between project members, management and others
Facilitate and operationalize relationships with external organizations, vendors and other strategic partners
Has some managerial level responsibility and decision-making authority for assigned projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field; or the equivalent in work experience
Requires 7-10 years of work experience of which extensive experience in project management
Prior supervisory experience a plus
Experience with tools used for project management required
Experience with business process flow analyses required
Experience in all phases of project management introducing medium-to-large-scale
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Good software and application knowledge with base knowledge of relevant technologies with experience in software development lifecycle
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office products include MS Project and Visio
Preferred
Master's Degree is a plus
Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
Experience with an install of an enterprise wide application, a plus
Background in healthcare preferred
