The San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) is a State of California government agency focused on regulatory and planning responsibilities over San Francisco Bay. They are seeking a Human Resources and Training Analyst to perform complex consultative and analytical assignments related to training, recruitment, and workforce development, while supporting the Human Resources and Training Manager.
Government Administration

Responsibilities

Independently initiates and performs complex consultative, analytical, technical assignments and special projects for the areas of training, staff development, hiring, recruitment and workforce development
Works closely with the Human Resources and Training Manager assisting in creating, maintaining, and execution of staffing, recruitment, training, processing requests, and implementation of policies and procedures along with Labor Relations assistance
Provides consultative services to all levels of staff regarding development, training, labor relations and other duties as required
Assists the Human Resources & Training Manager in meetings, trainings, and other duties as needed

Required

Knowledge of principles, practices, and trends of public administration, staffing, recruitment, training, labor relations, and staff services; government functions and organization
Ability to reason logically and creatively and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to resolve complex problems; develop and evaluate alternatives; analyze data and present ideas and information effectively both orally and in writing; consult and advise on assigned subject-matter areas; gain and maintain the confidence and cooperation of those contacted during the course of work; coordinate the work of others and act as a team leader
