Responsibilities

Overseeing the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualization tools, and virtual environments to improve system performance and reliability
Lead efforts to modernize legacy simulators, migrating them to current operating systems and integrating emerging technologies and frameworks
Partnering with stakeholders to define and review simulation requirements, ensuring alignment with operational needs and system capabilities
Supervise the validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software, models, and test procedures, ensuring fidelity against real-world data and benchmarks
Collaborate with hardware teams to facilitate seamless integration of simulation software with physical systems and devices
Guide the implementation of best practices in software engineering, documentation, and maintenance, while advising management on technological trends and improvements to simulation environments
Demands proactive leadership, technical innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality simulation solutions that support international defense training programs

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development using languages such as C++, Python, Ada, C, and Java

At least 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams or projects
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
