Responsibilities
Supporting the development, integration, and testing of sensor systems, including radar and signal processing components
Analyzing system requirements
Contributing to hardware and software design
Performing modeling and simulation
Participating in system testing and evaluation activities
Assisting in sensor certification processes
Verifying sensor requirements
Ensuring compliance with operational standards
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
Documentation of technical processes
Providing technical expertise during system integration and field testing
Supporting troubleshooting efforts
Contributing to technical reports
Participating in meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress and technical findings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering program, with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
Relevant fields include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics from an accredited institution are also considered
Experience with missile defense radars, specifically AN/SPY-1 or AN/SPY-6 systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite—Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities
Sound judgment
Physical demands include lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, walking, and periodic bending or twisting
Security clearance at the Secret level is mandatory
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain this clearance
Preferred
Advanced degrees such as a master's or Ph.D. in the aforementioned fields are highly desirable and preferred
