Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software systems that adhere to safety, security, and industry standards
Review code to ensure compliance with technical requirements and best practices
Develop and execute testing procedures
Verify that software functionalities meet specified requirements
Monitoring feature- and story-level testing progress
Troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions
Analyze existing software processes
Recommend improvements and document best practices to enhance future development efforts
Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams
Support the development of models and simulations
Contribute to software architecture documentation
Participate in continuous integration and deployment activities to streamline development workflows
Qualification
Required
At least 2+ years of professional experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
Strong background in requirements analysis, software design, development, and testing
Experience working within agile development frameworks
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in team environments, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, and cybersecurity disciplines
Preferred
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with DevSecOps practices
Embedded real-time software development
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD)
Open architecture standards such as Open Mission Systems (OMS)
Proficiency with DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Maven
