Responsibilities
You will contribute to systems engineering activities across various phases of development, production, and sustainment programs
Your responsibilities include writing and maintaining system requirements, interfaces, verification criteria, and test plans
You will perform critical analyses related to affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, human factors, survivability, security, and product assurance
Supporting technical reviews and assessments, tracking requirements, risks, issues, and opportunities, and utilizing modern systems engineering methodologies such as MBSE will be integral to your role
Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with program goals, support certification efforts, and help foster continuous improvement in engineering processes
The role requires working onsite at designated locations, with potential travel domestically and internationally based on project needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant engineering experience
Preferred
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Experience in systems engineering processes such as system design, requirements development, verification, and validation
Familiarity with aircraft, mission systems, or weapon systems development
Proficiency with verification and certification efforts
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Experience with systems engineering tools like MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) platforms such as Cameo or MSOSA
Technical skills in programming languages and tools such as Python, C++, JavaScript, and version control systems like Git or Azure DevOps
