Responsibilities

Developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for complex systems
Writing and integrating code, ensuring seamless functionality of software components, and maintaining comprehensive development and verification plans
Executing test procedures, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
Supporting the generation of software processes, tools, and metrics, serving as a subject matter expert in your domain
Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on system-specific issues and regulations
Tracking project progress, evaluating team performance, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality and safety standards
Contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical software systems

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience with C/C++ programming
Strong background in designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
At least 3 years of experience in safety-critical software development
Familiarity with real-time operating systems such as GreenHills Integrity
Experience with Agile methodologies
Active security clearance (Secret or higher)
Knowledge of standards like MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, and DO-178C
Experience in fault tolerance, signal processing, or control system design

Preferred

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields
More than 7 years of relevant work experience considered advantageous
