Responsibilities
Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, including laboratory results, material testing data, and engineering changes
Produce engineering documentation such as reports, summaries, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics
Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis
Provide technical support to engineers across a variety of tasks
Assist with equipment scoping and qualification activities
Support general laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, safety procedure implementation, and routine maintenance
Execute designed test protocols and conduct testing activities
Document and clearly communicate test results
Assist with development of prototype processes and test setups
Handle test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing
Notify management or team leads of issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes
Support training of lower-level technicians as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
4–6 years of experience in a laboratory environment (corporate or academic) or technician experience in a regulated environment
Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively within a team
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline
1–2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment
Experience working in regulated environments and following written procedures
