US AM Tour Northeast/New England is a competitive amateur golf tournament organization. The Associate Sub-Regional Director will manage tournament operations, localized marketing, and sponsorship sales while fostering business growth in the Northeastern USA.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a regional social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, X) to promote upcoming events and highlight winners
Utilize Canva or similar design tools to create high-impact promotional graphics for tournament flyers, digital sponsor decks, and 'Leaderboard Highlights.'
Capture on-site 'Stories' and 'Reels' during events to showcase the premium Tour experience and attract new members
Adapt the national sponsorship template to include local market data and creative mock-ups for prospective partners
Secure local corporate sponsors (Hole, Title, and Beverage cart sponsors). Keep 33% of profits for any successful sponsorship acquisition
Execute full lifecycle of event logistics: registration, pace-of-play, and live scoring
Manage a professional on-course environment that mirrors the PGA Tour experience for amateurs
Earn 40% of the Executive Director’s profit on all new memberships and renewals you facilitate

Required

Strong operations management skills, including resource coordination and process optimization
Experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning
Proficiency in data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting
Effective communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment and adapt to evolving priorities
Expertise in marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth
Prior experience in a related field, preferably in event management or business operations
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred

Proficient in Canva, Adobe Express, or Cap Cut for creating professional-grade social media content
Experience in executing digital ad campaigns or local grassroots marketing to 'fill the field'
Strong understanding of USGA rules and the 'Amateur Golf Spirit'
A 'closer' mentality with the ability to identify and land 4-to-5 figure local sponsorship deals
Experienced 1–2 years in general hospitality or golf ops
Educational background of at minimum an Associates Degree, or preferred a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Finance, or related field of study. Includes PGA/ PGM Internship experiences or Apprenticeships
Technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including experience with Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Experience with Google Suite Products
Experience and Proficiency with Canva & Instagram / Facebook Marketing Campaigns
Mastery of social media growth strategies and creative design to build a 'brand' for their sub-region
Ownership of a reliable vehicle and smartphone/tablet capable of running on live-scoring platforms
Demonstrated existing relationships within the regional golf community & business network (local club pros, league leaders, or golf course owners, business owners, & potential donors)
Acts as the Subsidiary face of the sub-region, reporting directly to the CEO/Executive Director
