Program Manager of Workforce Development
Dress for Success Charlotte is an organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence. The Program Manager of Workforce Development will facilitate and enhance programs aimed at job readiness for under-resourced women, while also leading staff and managing community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Manage Coordinator of Community Engagement, providing performance goals, program feedback, and development in their career growth while empowering them to run effective, engaging, client-centered programs
Execute program strategies and performance expectations established by the Director of Programs & Operations, bringing forward decisions and recommendations for strategic alignment
Collaborate with the Inventory and Operations Specialist to coordinate and align program volunteers with Workforce Development initiatives, supporting onboarding, role clarity, and effective job acquisition and employment retention program delivery
Facilitate, develop, and enhance program and service delivery that advances job readiness for women in our community:
Facilitate programs, workshops, and events that meet organizational and client goals
Create engagement opportunities in a variety of formats to meet clients at various needs and times
Research trends and recommend programs and services to meet current demands
Collaborate internally to ensure program delivery aligns with employment pathways and workforce development strategies
Working closely with the Director of Programs & Operations, identify opportunities to expand impact through innovative programming, delivery, and service models
Lead Career ReUp and one-on-one coaching job readiness and acquisition programming by maintaining thoughtful client engagement and service delivery, while leveraging volunteer strengths to support clients in achieving their goals
Lead the Styling Program by managing scheduling, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring a consistent client centered experience that aligns with program standards and connects clients to the broader continuum of services
Ensure strong record-keeping and data reporting on programs, clients, and volunteer outcomes
Support the Director of Programs & Operations in developing, testing, and using a client-focused CRM
Utilize advanced excel skills to capture program data, generate reports and support data informed decisions
Execute programs that advance the strategic plan, providing quarterly updates for board reporting
Qualification
Required
3+ years of increasing responsibility in nonprofit organizations, including program development and facilitation, operations, and volunteer partnership development/management
2+ years demonstrated experience delivering programs and services to under-resourced communities
Understand data tracking, management, and reporting strategies
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable mode of transportation and good driving record
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to facilitate and support programs, workshops, and special events
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 25 lbs. for event setup and program logistics
A background check is required
Willingness to work in-office 4 days a week, with flex time, weekly and monthly remote options
