Entry, Mid LevelValue Alpha is an AI-powered valuation and scenario-planning platform for private-market businesses and investors. We’re looking for an Engineer to help build Value Alpha from the ground up, working directly with the founder to design, build, and ship the core product across backend, frontend, and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain the core Value Alpha platform end-to-end
Develop backend services, APIs, and database architecture
Implement frontend features and dashboards for valuation and scenario analysis
Integrate AI-driven workflows for financial analysis, assumptions, and explanations
Collaborate closely with the founder on product design, UX flows, and feature prioritization
Ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity across financial models
Help define engineering best practices and technical direction as the team grows
Qualification
Required
Experience in software engineering
Comfortable owning features end-to-end in a startup environment
Strong fundamentals in AI and Data analysis
Ability to work independently and move fast with incomplete information
Interest in startups, finance, data, or AI-powered products
Preferred
Bonus: experience with fintech, analytics platforms, or AI integrations
