Responsibilities

Design and develop innovative furniture and cabinetry products from initial concept through to production, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer needs
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to bring ideas to life, ensuring seamless integration of design and engineering principles
Conduct user research and testing to validate product features, usability, and performance, incorporating feedback into iterative design improvements
Create detailed CAD models, prototypes, and comprehensive product documentation to facilitate manufacturing and quality control
Apply engineering principles to ensure safety, reliability, and manufacturability of products, adhering to industry standards and regulations
Balance aesthetic appeal with functional requirements, cost considerations, and production feasibility to deliver market-leading products
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and new manufacturing techniques to continuously enhance product offerings
Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during the manufacturing process to ensure product quality and consistency

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial design, or a related field

Strong collaboration skills
