Responsibilities

The Information Services Lead will act as the primary project and support liaison within their focus area, overseeing the entire lifecycle of system implementation and optimization
Responsibilities include leading build, configuration, testing, and go-live activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational objectives
They will serve as an escalation point for support issues, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
The role involves conducting process and requirement analysis, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and documentation of workflows to support complex projects
The Lead will develop and maintain strong business relationships with key client administrators, leveraging these relationships to identify new opportunities and address potential conflicts proactively
They will coordinate cross-team efforts, facilitate communication between application teams, and lead workgroups to ensure alignment and efficiency
The role also encompasses preparing detailed project status reports, managing project timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations
The Lead will work closely with application development and compliance teams to design and implement system processes that meet regulatory standards
They will independently analyze, design, and configure applications, providing training and guidance to team members on complex configurations and workflows
Additionally, the Lead will stay current with the latest Epic updates, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance system functionality and efficiency
They will oversee large or sensitive projects, manage workload distribution, and contribute to performance evaluations and team development initiatives
The ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership is crucial for success in this role

Required

Associate's or bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or information systems
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems
Supervisory or team leadership experience
Project management experience of at least two years or an equivalent background
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills
Ability to present complex data clearly
Strong problem-solving skills
Multitasking skills
Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Experience in healthcare workflows, clinical systems, and vendor management

Preferred

Certification in relevant healthcare IT modules, such as Epic
