Responsibilities
Create and maintain high-quality software systems that adhere to industry safety, security, and performance standards
Review and check code to ensure compliance with technical requirements and best practices
Develop comprehensive testing procedures, verify test results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure software functionality and reliability
Monitor feature and story-level testing progress, resolve issues promptly, and document testing outcomes for transparency and future reference
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, cybersecurity, and supply chain groups, to ensure seamless integration of software components
Analyze existing software processes and tools, recommend improvements, and document best practices to enhance development efficiency
Support the development of software architecture and design documentation using modeling tools like Cameo or similar MBSE platforms
Maintain configuration management and version control using tools such as Git, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Engage in agile development cycles, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Ensure all software development activities comply with Boeing’s standards for safety, security, and quality, while supporting program milestones and deliverables
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in software development
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
Strong background in requirements analysis, system design, development, and testing
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in team environments
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Preferred
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with DevSecOps practices
Embedded real-time software development
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
Developing models and simulations
Working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD)
Experience with Agile methodologies
Familiarity with application DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Maven
Familiarity with configuration management systems like Git and JIRA
