Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading and routing
Ensure warehouse layout, organization, and cleanliness are maintained at all times
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse workflows
Monitor workload and prioritize tasks to meet delivery and service commitments
Oversee accurate receiving of all inbound shipments against Bills of Lading and purchase orders
Ensure discrepancies, damages, and shortages are identified, documented, and escalated immediately
Maintain accurate inventory records within system
Perform regular cycle counts and manage full physical inventories
Investigate and resolve inventory variances in a timely manner
Ensure proper handling and segregation of bonded inventory
Maintain complete and accurate receiving, adjustment, and transfer documentation
Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance-related requests
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and traceability of all products
Oversee daily order preparation and staging for deliveries
Coordinate with driver to ensure accurate loading and route readiness
Monitor delivery execution and address delivery issues, shortages, or damages
Ensure warehouse equipment, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and used safely
Supervise drivers, providing clear direction and daily priorities
Set expectations for organization, professionalism, and accountability
When needed train new team members on warehouse procedures and systems
Partner with leadership on staffing needs and performance evaluations
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow
Improve space utilization and warehouse organization as volume grows
Reduce errors, rework, shrink, and unnecessary labor
Implement simple, repeatable systems that support scalability
Work closely with Sales, Accounting, and Brand teams to resolve operational issues
Communicate inventory status, operational challenges, and risks proactively
Escalate issues with clear recommendations and solutions
High inventory accuracy with minimal discrepancies
On-time and accurate order fulfillment
Clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment
Consistent execution of receiving and documentation procedures
Continuous improvement mindset
Qualification
Required
3+ years of warehouse or operations management experience
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
Preferred
Beverage alcohol, distribution, or regulated environment experience
Experience with inventory management systems (Zoho preferred but not required)
Forklift experience
