Human Resources Manager

SoTalent is seeking a Human Resources Manager to work closely with HR leadership and operational management to deliver people-focused initiatives and implement enterprise-wide HR programs. The role focuses on building a workplace culture that attracts, develops, and retains talent while supporting business performance across the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior HR leadership to deliver essential people processes, including performance reviews, talent development, compensation programs, learning initiatives, and return-to-work accommodations
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Partner with hiring leaders and specialist teams to support workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding efforts
Actively contribute to initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement
Design and administer programs that strengthen employee morale, engagement, and retention
Manage employee relations matters such as workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
Support compliance with employment legislation at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as internal policies
Coordinate workers’ compensation and liability cases, including reporting, documentation, and communication with external administrators
Identify training needs and assist in developing programs that enhance individual and organizational performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline required for external applicants; preferred for internal candidates
Approximately five years of progressive experience in human resources, with prior supervisory or leadership exposure preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, interpret concerns, and respond thoughtfully
Proven capability to coach, develop, and motivate employees and leaders
High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive situations
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgment and analytical thinking when evaluating options and solving problems
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
Collaborative mindset with experience resolving differences and building consensus
Ability to perform standard office-based activities, including sitting, standing, walking, and using computers and phones
Willingness to travel occasionally to company sites
Comfortable working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
Regular use of office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and telephones
Typical office noise levels with periodic exposure to operational environments

Preferred

Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR or SPHR)
Experience working with HR information systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar platforms
