Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architecture designs
Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of banking applications
Integration Solutions: Design and implement integration solutions between various banking systems, third-party services, and APIs
Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to ensure high availability and scalability of applications
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, processes, and standards
Compliance & Security: Ensure all solutions comply with banking regulations and security standards, including data protection and privacy laws
Project Management: Participate in project planning and estimation, providing input on timelines and resource allocation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a Java Technical Lead role
Strong experience in the banking and financial services sector, with a deep understanding of banking processes and systems
Expert in Java and related technologies (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Proficient with Apache Kafka, including its architecture, ecosystem, and best practices for implementing event-driven solutions
Proficient in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) and data modeling
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proven leadership skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to banking (e.g., Basel III, GDPR)
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
