INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE
Caltrans District 3 is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst for the Office of Legislative Counsel. The role involves managing mobile wireless procurement and network account management, ensuring compliance with government policies, and overseeing contract performance.

Responsibilities
Maintain detailed records in Microsoft Access and Excel
Analyze and approve internet provider invoices for OLC and its customers
Work with internet service providers to ensure uninterrupted services for OLC and its customers
Assist with analyses and research requests for purchases, contracts, and agreements, and work with requesters to get accurate specifications, pricing, and availability
Work with all levels of management and staff within the Legislative Data Center (LDC) and customers to assist with purchase request questions, negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, and provide information to requesters on best practices
Assist in the verification and auditing of various invoices for the OLC and its customers
Work with vendors, OLC Accounting, and customers to resolve invoice problems to ensure prompt payment
Take on additional responsibilities in other areas when needed
Qualification
Required
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov. All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position

School Transcripts
One (1)+ years of current experience with IT procurement and/or contracts
Two (2)+ years of experience with the application of public agency guidelines and policies
Ability to create, format, and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases for data analysis
Ability to adapt to extreme workload pressures and handle interruptions and changes in priorities without losing productivity
Knowledge of the legislative process and/or business environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Oracle E-Business Suite
Knowledge of the OLC's mission, vision, and values
