HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER I

Caltrans District 3 is seeking a Health Program Manager I to support the CDPH mission through the development and implementation of mental and behavioral health programs. The incumbent will provide leadership and oversight in mental health support initiatives for children and families, working closely with state and local programs.

Responsibilities

Supports the CDPH mission through the development and implementation of the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Division’s Future of Public Health (FoPH) Mental and Behavioral Health Program and Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) initiatives
Works under the general direction of the Health Program Manager II (HPM II), Manager of the Community Resilience and Support Section (CORESS)
Serves as the Manager of the CORESS Local Program Support Unit providing leadership and oversight in the areas of mental and behavioral health and support for CYSHCN and their families
Works closely with state and local MCAH programs and their staff; identifies needs, emerging issues, develops trainings, resources and provides technical support related to primary prevention of behavioral and mental health challenges
Requires up to 10% in-State travel

Up to 10% in-State travel is required
