Account Manager - Business Development
Alter Behavioral Health is focused on providing access to mental health treatment through strong partnerships. As an Account Manager in Business Development, you will ensure that referrals are managed efficiently, facilitating the admissions process for individuals seeking care.

Responsibilities
Manage all inbound professional referrals in CRM systems (Dazos/Kipu)
Respond immediately to new referrals — no lead sits idle longer than 15 minutes
Coordinate clinical documentation, admissions handoffs, and logistics
Partner with Admissions, Clinical, Billing, and Utilization Review teams to support smooth admissions
Serve as the primary office-based contact for hospital discharge planners and referral partners
Provide white-glove support to professional referrers throughout the admissions process
Schedule facility tours and distribute digital collateral and outcomes information
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all referral activity
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of experience in behavioral health admissions, healthcare account management, or referral-driven environments
Strong CRM experience (Dazos, Kipu, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid California Driver's License required
Must pass a LiveScan criminal background check
CPR & First Aid Certification required
