Responsibilities
Design, configure, and customize Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) to support business processes (engineering change, BOM management, document management, etc.)
Implement AWC declarative UI configurations (tiles, commands, panels, context menus, styles, messages) based on functional requirements
Develop server‑side customizations in Teamcenter (ITK/SOA/BMIDE/workflows/handlers) required to support AWC features and integrations
Configure and maintain integrations between Teamcenter/AWC and upstream/downstream systems (CAD, ERP, MES, reporting tools)
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, technical documentation, and estimation for PLM enhancements and projects
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects in AWC and core Teamcenter, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes
Support environment upgrades, patches, and migrations (schema updates, AWC version updates, impact analysis, regression validation)
Collaborate with solution architects, functional leads, and business users to translate process needs into scalable PLM/AWC solutions
Follow secure coding and configuration practices, perform unit testing, and support system/integration/user acceptance testing
Provide knowledge transfer, technical guidance, and occasional training to internal teams and key users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field
[X+] years of hands‑on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM (configuration and customization)
Strong experience with Active Workspace (AWC) configuration and customization
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and JSON; experience with Angular or React is a plus
Strong programming experience in C/C++ and/or Java for Teamcenter server‑side development (ITK, services)
Experience with BMIDE for data model changes and extensions
Good understanding of Teamcenter workflows, access controls, preferences, and basic administration concepts
Experience working with Teamcenter SOA/REST APIs for integrations
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs
Self‑driven, organized, and comfortable owning end‑to‑end solutions
Preferred
Experience with RAC client customizations and Teamcenter 10.x or later
Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD (NX, SolidWorks, Catia, etc.) and/or ERP systems
Knowledge of CI/CD practices, version control (Git), and automated build/deployment of Teamcenter customizations
Prior experience in large‑scale PLM implementations, upgrades, or data migrations
Relevant Siemens/Teamcenter certifications
