Senior LevelLotus Suites USA is seeking a hands-on .NET Technical Lead to lead a large-scale legacy-to-modern migration program in the Asset & Wealth Management domain. The role involves leading application migration initiatives, defining migration strategies, and providing architectural leadership throughout the migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead and own application migration initiatives (legacy → modern architecture)
Perform impact assessment and reverse engineering of existing systems
Define migration strategies, sequencing, and technical approach
Design and build migrated solutions using .NET Core, C#, MVC, and Angular
Ensure data, application, and integration continuity during migration
Enforce Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) during migration:
Exception handling
Caching
Logging
Security
Lead code reviews, refactoring, and modernization efforts
Apply OOP principles and design patterns to stabilize and improve migrated code
Drive unit testing / TDD to de-risk migration
Provide architectural leadership and mentor engineers throughout the migration lifecycle
Collaborate with DevOps teams on cloud migration, CI/CD, and containerization
Work in an Agile environment using JIRA, Confluence, and Teams
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading or executing enterprise application migrations
Hands-on expertise in .NET Core, C#, MVC
Hands-on expertise in Angular
Hands-on expertise in JavaScript, CSS, jQuery
Hands-on expertise in ORM frameworks (Entity Framework or equivalent)
Strong experience applying design patterns in real projects
Experience with Redis / Memcached (ElastiCache)
AWS experience with ECS / EKS
AWS experience with API Gateway
AWS experience with Lambda
AWS experience with IAM
AWS experience with Docker containers
AWS experience with CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of IaaS / PaaS / SaaS
Source control: Git, TFS
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Preferred
Migration experience
Legacy to .NET Core migration
On-prem to AWS cloud migration
Refactoring monolithic applications toward modern architectures
Strong impact analysis and reverse engineering skills
Domain Experience in Asset & Wealth Management
Domain Experience in Trade / Investment Management platforms
Strong technical leadership in migration programs
