Responsibilities

The Systems/Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting all functions related to GXP RDT&E Information Assurance activities in accordance with DoD directives, including 8500.01E and 8500
The role involves managing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), conducting vulnerability assessments using ACAS, and monitoring scan results to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
The administrator will initiate, review, and prioritize vulnerability scans, create remediation tickets, and document outcomes, providing weekly summaries to the M&S lead
Additionally, the role requires supporting all IA compliance actions associated with RDT&E laboratories, working closely with ISSOs and project leads to ensure timely documentation, reviews, and adherence to security standards
Responsibilities also include supporting network diagnostics, troubleshooting, managing end-user accounts, and maintaining asset inventories
The administrator will serve as an advisor and presenter at IA meetings, supporting GXP government representatives, recording minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items
Other duties may involve assisting with security authorization documentation, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the division

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of five to eight years of professional experience in systems or network administration
Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software management, video systems, and cybersecurity principles
Working familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Windows 10/11, Server 2019, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and good judgment
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, and perform periodic twisting, bending, and squatting
Current security clearance at the Secret level
U.S. citizenship
