Operations Manager

Responsibilities

Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure consistent, best-in-class execution and customer service standards
Develop and execute individual development plans for direct and indirect reports to foster growth and professional development
Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained according to budget and customer demand, collaborating with human resources for hiring, training, and performance management
Monitor and control store wages and expenses, identifying variances and taking corrective actions as necessary
Oversee all cash management policies, procedures, and practices to ensure accuracy and security
Implement, audit, and administer customer loyalty programs such as Fleet Rewards Visa, Store Credit Card, and other promotional initiatives
Provide guidance and resolution for customer-related issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Work closely with the Loss Prevention Lead to reduce shrinkage through education, awareness, and compliance initiatives
Promote company programs including customer loyalty, credit cards, and other store initiatives to enhance customer engagement and sales
Manage resetting and project coordination to ensure timely and effective implementation of store updates and merchandising plans

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of five years of management experience within a Big Box retailer or similar environment
Proven leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and relationship-building in a fast-paced setting
Ability to motivate a diverse team comprising full-time and part-time employees
Flexibility in working hours, including availability on days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational skills
Analytical thinking
Ability to plan, delegate, and monitor goals
