Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the development team throughout the project lifecycle
Define project scope and deliverables by creating statements of work (SOWs), proposals, SOPs, and user documentation
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines
Assist with project contracts and ensure adherence to approved budgets and timelines
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted project partner
Coordinate with clients to collect approvals, assets, requirements, and feedback
Capture detailed notes and action items from all client and internal meetings
Maintain hands-on familiarity with company products to identify opportunities for enhancements or additional services
Review and test new builds to assess progress, functionality, and overall application quality
Perform internal testing and identify improvement opportunities prior to client delivery
Track project milestones and hold internal teams accountable to deadlines and commitments
Utilize project management and tracking tools to maintain accurate, up-to-date project status
Respond to client questions and coordinate with development teams to provide timely updates
Support the CTO by assisting with project resourcing, scheduling, and allocation of development hours
Prepare and deliver monthly project status reports and KPI summaries to leadership
Assist with additional projects and initiatives as business needs evolve
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and project management best practices
Experience using issue tracking and project management tools (JIRA experience a plus)
Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7+ years of project management experience
3+ years of project management experience in software development environments
1+ year of Scrum or Agile-based project management experience
1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience managing software projects with 2–8 person development teams, including iOS projects
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
PMP certification
