Business Development Manager
Producers National Corporation is focused on managing relationships with independent agency customers in the Illinois and Indiana market. The Business Development Manager will oversee marketing staff and drive revenue growth by managing strategic accounts and fostering key client relationships.

Responsibilities
Manage up to 3 junior Business Development Specialists, provide them direction and training
Develop and maintain relationships with major or strategic accounts in your region
Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet business goals
Negotiate contracts and commission to ensure long-term partnerships
Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, IT, accounting, claims, etc.) to deliver exceptional client service
Track sales performance and forecast revenue growth
Identify opportunities for cross-selling or up selling within major accounts
Qualification
Required
Ability to manage staff and provide direction
Strong knowledge of Illinois and Indiana insurance needs
Proven experience in B2B or enterprise sales
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strategic thinking and account planning ability
Experience with CRM tools
Ability to manage multiple high-value clients simultaneously
Preferred
An individual with a proven track record of outside sales success
An individual with experience working for a property and casualty insurance company, especially one that specializes in auto insurance
Understanding of the independent agency business model
Prior supervisory experience
