The Information Services Developer Lead is responsible for guiding and managing the development and maintenance of critical health information systems, overseeing application support activities, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and continuous improvement of systems.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate efforts within the designated focus area, ensuring consistency and quality across development initiatives
Act as the primary representative during all phases of system implementation, including build, configuration, testing, go-live, and optimization
Manage focus area workgroups, overseeing related processes and facilitating collaboration among team members and stakeholders
Maintain open communication channels between application teams, compliance units, and end-users to ensure clear understanding of business needs and technical requirements
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, staying informed about the latest Epic features, Nova releases, and other relevant updates
Collaborate with application development teams and business process owners to design, develop, and maintain system functionalities aligned with organizational policies
Provide technical input and oversee the implementation of solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture strategies
Evaluate proposed system acquisitions or solutions, considering factors such as compatibility, cost, resource requirements, and operational impact
Establish standards and proactive processes for data collection, reporting, and system performance monitoring
Research, design, develop, and implement applications, databases, and interfaces using current technology platforms
Lead initiatives to adopt new strategies, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of information services
Participate in on-call rotations and work outside regular hours during critical system outages or maintenance windows
Continuously pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and technological advancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in application development within a corporate environment
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience leading technical teams
Strong knowledge of enterprise application and integration design, including systems, databases, and operating systems
Proficiency in web development platforms such as JAVA, .NET/C#, and familiarity with middleware integration tools
Experience with automation technologies, including RPA and test automation
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Internet Information Server, Linux, Apache, Unix, and Microsoft Foundation Server
Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers to design solutions and coordinate projects
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities to develop and guide technical teams effectively
