Responsibilities

Supporting the performance, verification, and sustainment of tactical communication systems, ensuring operational readiness
Perform formal system analysis, review performance parameters, and troubleshoot system performance issues
Developing and maintaining data management and processing software tools is essential, along with preparing technical documentation, reports, and briefings
Analyzing Data Link messages, interpreting system requirements, and ensuring compliance with MIL-STD standards
Participate in system integration, testing, and validation activities, including writing test cases and defect reports
Presenting technical findings at reviews and recommending improvements to existing systems are key aspects of the position
Handle classified materials responsibly, maintain security protocols, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives and deadlines

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
Graduate degree with at least four (4) years of experience, or ten (10) years of equivalent work experience without a degree
Current DOD Secret Security Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance
Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts
Troubleshooting communication systems such as Data Links (e.g., Link16, CMF)
Experience with software coding and development
Excellent communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Experience with network security and military communication systems

Preferred

Familiarity with MIL-STD standards
Data message building and analysis
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
Military or DoD experience
Familiarity with RC135 systems and JTRS radios
