Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day engineering support for plant operations. (Troubleshooting, problem solving, coordination, etc.)
Perform engineering functions as determined by your experience and ability to learn and work with people in various manufacturing processes
Assist in small projects, including development of scope, economics, design, implementation, commissioning, training, and start-up
Identify opportunities to increase manufacturing safety and efficiency
Create professional documents (Standard Operating Procedures, Forms, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, etc.) that define the company's manufacturing procedures and equipment
Other opportunities to self-identify work are available depending on students interests and capabilities
Qualification
Required
High motivation and ambitious drive
Ability to provide day-to-day engineering support for plant operations
Experience and ability to learn and work with people in various manufacturing processes
Ability to assist in small projects, including development of scope, economics, design, implementation, commissioning, training, and start-up
Ability to identify opportunities to increase manufacturing safety and efficiency
Ability to create professional documents (Standard Operating Procedures, Forms, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, etc.)
