Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead the design and planning of projects from concept through entitlement, ensuring design integrity, technical quality, and client satisfaction
Project Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team. Provide clear direction and regular feedback as appropriate
Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients. Lead presentations, workshops, and coordination meetings
Strategic Planning: Contribute to high-level planning studies, master plans, zoning analysis, and site development strategies
Quality Control: Oversee project deliverables and ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with landscape architects, engineers, developers, and municipal stakeholders to ensure holistic solutions
Business Development: Support marketing efforts, proposal development, and participation in interviews and competitions
Qualification
Required
Professional degree in Architecture
Urban Design/Planning Degree a plus
Licensure preferred: RA, AICP, or equivalent
7–10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a project management role
Strong portfolio demonstrating urban planning, master planning, and architectural design projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
Passion for placemaking, walkable communities, and urban design principles
Preferred
REVIT experience preferred
