We are looking for a civil engineering leader who is recognized in municipal engineering circles
A leader known for their ability to win projects, manage teams, and deliver results
Opportunity to create your teams and client bases, with support of the expansive resources across diverse markets within a well-established firm
Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct multiple projects for a variety of clients across numerous sectors and regions
Understand market needs and trends to identify and act on opportunities to win work
Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
Recruit, manage, mentor, and collaborate with staff as needed to provide a positive team environment
Maintain an understanding of relevant regulatory programs, funding opportunities, design standards and procedures through active participation in continuing education programs and professional associations
Represent SEH with local governments, municipalities and industry events
Respond to RFQ’s
Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects
Present proposals to clients, interviewing for projects, and selecting project teams
Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field of study
Registered as a Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina
Experienced with design, construction and management of civil municipal projects
Understanding of market needs and trends with ability to identify and act on opportunities to win work
Demonstrated experience in client management; ability to lead and mentor staff
Preferred
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of previous experience in the Civil Engineering field
Previous experience managing a staff of engineering professionals and serving as a technical mentor for junior level staff
Current affiliation and/or membership with local, state or national Civil Engineering societies and associations
