Responsibilities

Manage staff within the Vendor Management & Contract Services division of the IT department
Coordinate the acquisition of IT goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, state and federal regulations
Negotiate, draft, and manage IT-related contracts, including vendor agreements, service-level agreements (SLAs), and procurement processes within the IT department
Oversee administrative functions related to IT operations, including documentation, workflow optimization, and process improvements
Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness
Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks associated with IT’s vendor agreements
Provide training and guidance to IT staff regarding budget and procurement policies, contract management, and procurement procedures for technology purchases
Work with finance, legal and procurement teams to streamline IT processes and resolve issues related with technology contracts
Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial and contractual records
Monitor expenditures on contracts and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making
Identify opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency through best practices in contract management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Legal, or related field
Three years of senior level management or five years of progressive experience
An equivalent combination of education and highly related experience in a similar environment may be considered
