IT Network Telecommunications Engineer
Council for Logistics Research, Inc. (CLR) is seeking an IT Network Telecommunications Engineer to support laboratory connectivity and network infrastructure for the Navigation Training Systems Lab (NTSL). The role involves ensuring reliable communications and telecommunications services, as well as managing network infrastructure to maintain continuous operations.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, operate, and maintain network infrastructure supporting NTSL laboratory systems
Support wired and wireless communications, including switches, routers, access points, and cabling
Manage telecommunications services to ensure reliable connectivity and performance
Monitor and optimize bandwidth utilization to support laboratory operations
Support installation and configuration of network and telecommunications equipment
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, performance, and communications issues
Perform preventative maintenance and sustainment activities to ensure system availability
Coordinate repairs, replacements, and upgrades of network and telecommunications components
Support integration of network infrastructure with laboratory systems and applications
Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and engineers to support end-to-end operations
Provide technical support to users and laboratory staff in response to connectivity and communications issues
Maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, and inventory records
Document issues, resolutions, and infrastructure changes in accordance with contract requirements
Support preparation of technical reports, briefings, and documentation for Government review
Comply with all personnel security, background investigation, and credentialing requirements
Adhere to Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements and safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
Follow Government policies for access to DoD installations, IT systems, and classified or sensitive environments
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship required
Active Secret security clearance required
Minimum five (5) years supporting DoD or Federal IT, network, or telecommunications environments
Demonstrated experience supporting network infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and connectivity services
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education where permitted
