Responsibilities
Program and optimize multi-axis motion paths on Fanuc-controlled gantry machines
Develop and validate shot peening saturation curves and intensity requirements
Set up and calibrate machine parameters (air pressure, RPM, nozzle angles, shot flow)
Perform 100% coverage inspections and prevent surface defects
Support shot media classification and maintenance
Guide fixturing and masking strategies
Train operators and support workstation instructions
Lead process improvements for safety, quality, cost, and delivery
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in automated shot peening (aerospace or heavy industrial preferred)
Strong experience with Fanuc CNC programming
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred
Solid understanding of Almen strips, intensity measurement, and saturation curves
