Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term retention
Manage and support new client onboarding and implementation processes
Coordinate and direct client-related activities in collaboration with advisors and internal team members
Maintain accurate paper and electronic client records in a timely manner
Compile quarterly asset values for billing, invoicing, journals, transfers, annuity fees, commission fees, and consulting fee collections
Perform day-to-day administrative office duties, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and supporting office operations
Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities as needed
Understand client business and financial needs and help identify appropriate value-added services
Review assigned activities to ensure proper controls and reduce the risk of errors, fraud, or misstatements
Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and learning opportunities
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
Prior experience in financial services or a relevant internship
Wealth management experience is an advantage
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail)
Experience with financial planning software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Client-focused mindset with a proactive service approach
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
