Start in 2026 SummerThe Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) oversees building and maintaining the nation's transportation infrastructure. They are seeking a Paid Survey College Intern to gain experience in operating survey measuring devices, obtaining survey data, and becoming familiar with CADD systems.

Responsibilities
Gains experience operating survey measuring devices & instruments
Obtains survey data & calculates precise measurements for elevations, horizontal & vertical lines, cross sections, curve angles
Becomes familiar with CADD systems and various software packages used in the collection of survey data & the preparation of highway plans
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a college or university related to Surveying & Mapping or Civil Engineering
In good academic standing with a minimum of a 2.00 GPA
Must show proof of valid driver's license in order to operate state vehicle
The final candidate for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check
