Application Analyst

Responsibilities
Acting as the primary liaison during system implementation phases such as build, configuration, testing, and go-live support
Overseeing application support activities, including incident, problem, request, and change management, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations
Leading process and requirements analysis, including process mapping, stakeholder analysis, and documentation of workflows for complex projects
Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key client administrators, leveraging these relationships to identify new project opportunities and facilitate collaboration
Mentoring team members, facilitating cross-training, and ensuring quality standards are met
Coordinating work efforts across teams, managing project timelines, and preparing comprehensive status reports for stakeholders
Escalating issues appropriately and working closely with application and compliance teams to design system processes aligned with organizational policies
Independently analyzing, designing, and configuring applications effectively using Epic systems, including Nova, Galaxy, and User Web
Managing communication between application teams, leading workgroups, and facilitating cross-application sessions
Developing internal and external communication strategies, articulating project plans clearly, and providing guidance to team members to foster a collaborative environment
Staying current with the latest system features, updates, and industry trends, ensuring the focus area remains efficient and innovative
Overseeing large or sensitive projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring deliverables meet organizational expectations
Supporting professional development initiatives and may be required to travel or work additional hours during critical periods
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or information systems
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience supporting healthcare or business information systems
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication abilities
Problem-solving aptitude
Adaptability to change
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and system configuration best practices
Proficiency or certification required upon employment
Preferred
Supervisory experience
Project management experience of at least 2 years or equivalent
Certification in relevant Epic modules
